Something is shifting and you feel it — in your body, your sleep, your mood, your sense of self.

You've looked for answers. You've found conflicting advice, rushed appointments, and more questions than you started with. What you haven't found yet is clarity. Or the right community.

Navigating this chapter with knowledge and the right women beside you — that is not just comfort. That is power.

The Warm Room is Calgary's first curated in-person community for women navigating perimenopause and menopause — bringing women together through intimate events, trusted clinical voices, and honest conversations.

You leave more informed than when you arrived — with expert insights, practical tools for this stage of life, and feeling genuinely validated, lighter, and less alone.

About Us

This chapter of life deserves more support, better conversations, and a room designed for both.

That space didn't exist in Calgary. So Katrina built it.

Rather than another clinical setting or generic wellness event, the Warm Room offers beautifully curated gatherings built around honest conversations, meaningful connections, and trusted expert perspectives — creating space for women to feel informed and grounded in this chapter of life.

Every gathering is intentional. A space to slow down, ask the questions you haven't known where to take, hear from voices you can trust, and leave feeling connected — to the right knowledge, to other women, and to yourself. That connection is not just meaningful. It is what moves you forward.

The Warm Room was born from two things: a personal experience and the conversations that followed.

When Calgary entrepreneur Katrina Helal began navigating perimenopause, she started talking to other women. What she heard was consistent and striking — confusion, isolation, a healthcare system stretched too thin, and an overwhelming amount of information that somehow left everyone with more questions than answers.

Women weren't just looking for information. They were looking for a space that truly understood them.

The setting is beautiful, the catering is on, and the women around you are navigating exactly what you are navigating.

What follows is two hours of honest conversation, trusted expert voices, and the kind of peer connection that only happens when the right women are gathered in the right room.

Rather than a lecture or a clinical setting, every gathering is built around three things: knowledge you can actually use, conversations that go somewhere real, and a community that makes this chapter of life feel less isolating and more supported.

This chapter is not a decline. It is a transition. And the women who move through it with the most confidence share one thing — they didn't do it alone, and they understood what was happening. That is exactly what The Warm Room is here for.

What to Expect

Thoughtful Expert Perspectives

We bring together carefully selected practitioners and professionals to guide conversations with clarity, warmth, and evidence-informed insight.

Intimate by Design

Every gathering is intentionally small because the conversations that matter most happen in rooms where everyone feels seen and welcome.

A Format Built for Real Conversation

Expert spotlights, facilitated panel discussion, and private table conversations — structured so you share as much or as little as feels right.

Practical Takeaways You Can Use

Every gathering closes with specific, actionable steps you can take this week. Because knowledge without direction is just information — and you deserve both.

A Room Where You Belong

You will feel it the moment you walk in-in the women around you, the warmth of the space, and the quiet recognition that you are exactly where you are supposed to be.

MEET THE FOUNDER

A woman with long brown hair and light skin smiling, wearing a floral dress with blue, black, and white colors, silver jewelry including earrings and a necklace, against a plain, light-colored background.

For a long time, I didn't have a word for what I was experiencing.

I noticed changes — in my energy, my sleep, my mood, the way I felt in my body — but like many women, I pushed through quietly. When I finally sought answers, I found myself navigating a healthcare system that didn't have much time for the conversation I needed. So I did what most of us do: I searched, I read, I listened to podcasts, and I carried the confusion mostly on my own.

It wasn't until I started talking openly with other women that something shifted. The more conversations I had, the more I realised how many of us were experiencing the same thing — and how few spaces existed where we could actually talk about it honestly, learn from people we trusted, and feel genuinely supported rather than dismissed.

That realisation became a call to purpose.

I'm a Calgary entrepreneur, not a clinician. But I know how to build something meaningful, and I knew this community needed to exist. The Warm Room is what I wish I had found when I first started looking.

My hope is that every woman who walks through our doors leaves feeling lighter, clearer, and far less alone than when she arrived; and believing that this chapter is hers to thrive in.

With warmth,

Katrina
